Lauren Ghamgosar

Lauren is a former elite level Cross Country Horsewoman and Eventer and understands clearly how to achieve Objectives. She graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) in 2015 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. She then worked in the NHS and this gave her the opportunity to work in more specialist rotations including obstetrics and gynaecology at a maternity hospital. Here, a strong interest in Pelvic Health was sparked.

She then dedicated the following years to developing her Knowledge and Skills in Uro/Gynae, Antenatal and Postnatal care. Following her decision to Specialise in Women’s Health and Pelvic Care Lauren then joined the LWF team in July 2021.

Lauren’s focus is clinical excellence and like the rest of the team she dedicates 1.5 hours each week to ensuring she is in touch with the latest developments in her field. Her gentle and empathetic nature really puts you at ease when discussing what are important and sometimes embarrassing issues. But Lauren’s true skill is outlining a clear pathway for you to meet your objectives and she pulls on all her experience to help you through this.
